Also the favourite poem of Nelson Mandela, which helped him go through all those years in jail in Robben Island.
INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
by William Ernest Henley (1849-1903)

Just Words
I found this interesting poem (act?) that I got very fond of, and I didn't know where to put it . So I figured I'd put it right here so I could read it anytime I want and maybe also because last Journal was one year old.
This concludes my explanation.
Prologue
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end,
The goddess descends from the sky.
Wings of light and dark spread afar,
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting.
Act I
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess.
We seek it thus, and take to the sky,
Ripples form on the water's surface,
The wandering soul knows no rest.
Act II
There is no hate, only joy,
Fo
You will step on the soil of many countries
I have nothing to say.
Just that I wanted to update my journal (it was getting really old), and that I´m still travelling around the world!
...
Did that sound cool?

Back from India
Hello everyone.
It's been a while since I haven't written any journals so, here I go.
I came back from my trip in India the day before yesterday, and apart from our...err crazy moments over there, it was really awesome!
We visited Chennai, Pondicherry, Thanjavur, Mysore and Bangalore.
I met a lot of lovely people over there, and spent more time knowing those I just knew a bit.
The Temples are incredible, pretty crazy, but incredible. Like...You can feel there is something spiritual in those places, you really feel that presence, that makes some of us uneasy...
India looks a bit like Brazil, at least in the south, the only difference of
